How wallet login and privacy work
You connect a wallet, review a short login message, and approve its signature. We verify that the signing key belongs to your mainnet stake address and that it currently delegates to SPRO. Connecting alone does not grant access.
The login message expires after five minutes and can be used once. Your signed-in session lasts up to 30 days, with delegation checked again at least every ten minutes when you use the Corner. Sign out before switching wallet accounts.
Login shares your public stake address with Sprout and the Koios blockchain indexer. We don’t request balances, assets, transaction history, or email. The wallet connection API itself may expose additional read permissions in your wallet’s approval screen. The site only calls its network, reward-address and message-signing methods.
We store your stake address during login and the session. Votes and suggestions use a private, derived member identifier so you can return to your conversations. Poll totals are visible to signed-in delegators; individual votes are not published. Suggestions and replies are visible only to their author and the operator. Content persists until removed by the operator; contact sproutpool@gmail.com to request removal.
These are community features, not a place for secrets. Do not post private node information or future block schedules. If a wallet asks for a transaction or recovery phrase while signing in, cancel.
